What is the difference between the Nordipen® device and the NordiPenMate® auto-insertion accessory?
The Nordipen® device is the delivery system; it is the barrel that measures the amount of each dose, and includes the push button that is used to deliver the dose. The NordiPenMate® auto-insertion accessory holds the cartridge. It is like a sleeve that hides the needle and inserts it with just the right pressure at the touch of a button.
Some patients prefer to manually inject themselves with the Nordipen® device, while others prefer the NordiPenMate® auto-insertion accessory with hidden needle and increased stability during injection.
