Supporting bright students
Novo Nordisk is actively engaged in promoting life sciences. We regard it as our social responsibility and it benefits our business.
Our structured activities are organised in Novo Nordisk Training and Research Programme.
Currently, we:
- co-finance around 60 PhD-students, more than 100 PhD-students since 1998
- provide scholarships to more than 30 master students finalising their thesis annually at Danish universities and Lund university
- finance post doc positions (return fellowships) at Novo Nordisk for up to two years for Danish ex-pat scientists returning to Denmark.
We support bright students and graduate schools of research within life sciences, focusing on biotechnology and pharmaceutical sciences, including:
- molecular biology
- microbiology
- pharmacy
- medico-techniques
- biomedical engineering.
You must be supported by a Novo Nordisk scientist to become enrolled in these activities. We support some of the best students enrolled at universities in Denmark and Southern Sweden, only.
