Scholarships

Currently, Novo Nordisk and Novozymes provide scholarships to more than 30 master students finalising their thesis annually, more than 312 since 1997.

Your opportunity
Within the Novo Scholarship Programme we grant up to one-year support in your final year as a master student, provided you are enrolled at a Danish university or Lund university and work in fields of interest to Novo Nordisk or Novozymes.

You are located at the university and work on a project defined by the university supervisor and yourself.

For Danish speaking scholarship recipients

  • Novo Nordisk enrols you in a 1-day workshop on scientific communication to improve your skills in promoting your field.
  • As a scholar you may be booked as Novo Science Ambassador to lecture about scientific area and passion for science. The lectures are available for grades 8 to 10 of the elementary school and for high schools.

Upon completion of your master's degree, you may get the opportunity to pursue a PhD-degree within Novo Nordisk.

  • The master thesis may take place in Denmark or abroad
