Socially responsible investors (SRI) have an investment strategy that takes into account the social, environmental and financial performance of a company when selecting and managing investment portfolios.

It is important for Novo Nordisk to be perceived as a visible, accessible, reliable and professional company by the financial markets. To this end Investor Relations ensures timely and appropriate communication to the financial community, which will allow it to make a fair valuation of the company’s shares.

Investor Relations maintains a high and uniform level of information from the company and ensures that information is channeled back from the financial markets to Novo Nordisk's Executive Management and Board of Directors. The ambition is that Investor Relations is rated by the financial market players as one of the best Investor Relations’ functions relative to comparable companies’ functions.

Sustainability is one of our key success factors

In Novo Nordisk Sustainable Development has been an integral part of the way we do business for more than a decade. Our way of translating it into practice is the Triple Bottom Line. Sustainability has been identified as one of the key success factors in Novo Nordisk's business strategy: Novo Nordisk aims at operational excellence, superior performance and image in the area of sustainability. Sustainability forms also a part of the Group’s mission, vision and values. Balancing the economic, environmental and social aspects of sustainability is the key to long-term profitability. Sustainability is about being responsible from an environmental, social and economic point of view.
